Issue: IWDA user can't login to email

Issue

  • IWDA user can't login to email either on Outlook client or Office365 online.
  • Outlook client keeps prompting to login to microsoft online

Cause - domain incorrect

IWDA has no server on-site, so uses Microsoft email addresses.

Staff members have iwda doman email addresses for day-to-day use (username@iwda.org.au) which cannot be used to login to Office365.

Solution

Use username@iwda.onmicrosoft.com to login

Cause - wrong password

IWDA email passwords are set separately from their login accounts. There is no syncrhonization between their Active Directory user and Office365

Solution

Try the default password

Login as tech and reset their password to the default
